I received an underage drinking ticket while walking down the sidewalk by myself. I was stopped because the officer wanted to “make sure I was safe.” He messed up while writing my BAC on the ticket, and it’s hard to decipher what he wrote. I was going to attempt to contest the ticket in court but now I think it’d be less of a hassle to just pay it. However, my court date is tomorrow and it’s too late to cancel it because their offices are closed. What will happen if I just don’t show up?
